Free Wallpaper Script ready for download

Free wallpaper script is a free PHP script to create wallpaper sites. I have a wallpaper site for couple years now and each year I am rewriting it in order to improve it. I am so happy with it so I decided to share script for creating wallpaper sites.
It is simple site to upload and share desctop wallpapers. Each wallpaper can be commented by site visitors. Also to promote best wallpapers there is rating system for wallpapers. Site visitors can rate up by adding one vote to it if they like that wallpaper. In same way they can vote down it to reduce rating score for it. This way site visitors can order wallpapers by rating to find best wallpapers on the site.

Flash Photo Album 2 is now free with source files

Flash Photo Album 2 is new version of Flash photo album with new features.

It is FREE
Dynamic Picture loading
Easy to install and easy to change content
Show pictures automatically with slideshow
Integrate to any web site
No server side scripting or database requirement
Adds great look and functionality to your web site
Easy to read XML based image captions and configuration file
Ability to add custom links for each image

Released it a while ago and had some feedback and questions about custom integration to other websites and flash files. Unfortunately I haven’t got much time to tweek and answer those needs. Instead I decided to release source files under same license “Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 License”. Think this will help to some of you to figure out how it works and adjust it to your needs.

Flash Photo Album 2 depends on two external classes:

mc_tween2.as class (need to download seperately from source) by Zeh Fernando for animations
XMLSA class (included in package) by Max Ziebell for converting xml to simple array.

Bloggum Blog competition is accepting competitors

Application for competition is going on and will accept users until 8 July 2007. After, each user will have right to use 3 votes for blogs they like. Released Flash Photo Album version 2

In past couple years there was great interest for Free Flash Photo Album, which is still great and much faster than any others flash photo album on the internet. But it is a bit difficult to setup, especially if you have a lot of photos to show and each photo has a title. That’s why I wrote new Flash photo album version 2 which uses xml for specifying images and customizing photo album itself.

Here are some main features of flash photo album 2:

Dynamic Picture loading
Easy to install and easy to change content
Show pictures automatically with slideshow
No server side scripting or database requirement
Easy to read XML based image captions and configuration file

Practical web design competition

Wallpaper Center participated in Reader’s Web Site competition. It was published in Practical Web Design Magazine on January 2006. Unfortunately it didn?t win any prizes because of some usability issues and lack of advertisement density on the site. It made us to rethink our design and usability policy. As competition not ended yet, we decided to participate again with another ongoing web site project, until the end of this year.

I am sure that this time we will win.
